Spoiler alert – there’s a bad joke coming.
Yang Dacai, head of the Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Work Safety, has been sacked after photographs of him wearing a multitude of expensive watches circulated on the internet. Yang claimed that he had bought the watches with his own salary and no corruption was involved. But, let’s face it, he’s supposed to be a busy public official and the photos clearly prove he had too much time on his hands!
