I am delighted to have been nominated for the 2012 Tony Blair Ducking Under The Bar Award for boldly raising the bar and diving under it. I knew I had the potential to be a great underachiever. I've racked up another prestigious award - the Eric Morecambe 'Mister Preview' Prize. According to the award citation, The Speed Of Dark Blog contains material that ranks with the finest literary works in history. All the right letters are there, but not necessarily in the right order.

No wonder earthlings have never done any serious space exploration. Their navigational skills are appalling. This earthling didn’t know his port from his starboard, or he forgot to check the tides, or he called air traffic control instead of the … Continue reading

Back home on Morys Minor, it’s considered rude and inappropriate to make more than a small, barely audible pop when you kiss. Judging by the reactions of the children in the vicinity, hominids on this planet go in for an … Continue reading
This is for some of my friends back home who have been concerned about the Pale Blue Dot’s military might. This suggests the military might not! A bit of adverse weather and they go to pieces. smolin9 Next Snapshots Menu Page
